Mr Russia 's debut CD - Teething - hits stores on February 14, 2009 but you can order your copy here - it's only $8!

Friday, February 13 - CD Release show at the Metro in Chicago. The band will be headlining the show but you can get in for FREE before 9 with a flyer you can download from the bands website at www.mrrussia.net .

Matthew Schultz (Lab Report, Pigface) has unveiled his newest endeavor, The Division . This sound project is a reconstruction of ancient spells and rituals reinterpreted aurally by one of the leading dark ambient artists of our time. With this newest disc - Mantras - Matthew Schultz has delved into the esoteric and ancient fraternal order of The Division. MR RUSSIA is a combo of relentless rhythm, solid bass lines and cocky vocals one could describe as the bastard offspring of Iggy Pop and The White Stripes. With a brash, tactless sound all their own, the Chicago fourpiece welcomes easy comparisons to Shellac and Death from Above 1979, as well as drawing influences from hard-to-pinpoint sources such as XTC and Magazine. Miss Autopsy - The Hill is their third release and it is beautifully captured and sculpted by the return of the Grammy nominated producer/engineer/mixer John Congleton (Explosions In The Sky, Polyphonic Spree, 90 Day Men). This time around Miss Autopsy's Steve Beyerink is also accompanied by The Paper Chase’s Jason Garner on drums.

Robert Scott Thompson's debut release for Lens Records - Poesis Athesis - is now available for pre-order. Poesis Athesis is rooted in Thompson's ambient style but mixes in elements of electronica, ethnic influences and a personal homage to Erik Satie. We are very proud to finally have a Robert Scott Thompson release on the label!
