Robert Scott Thompson is a musical artist working in the electroacoustic, contemporary instrumental, pop and avant-garde genres.

Robert is Director of the Center for Audio Recording Arts (CARA) in the School of Music at Georgia State University in Atlanta. He also runs the Aucourant Records label, which has released selections of his work in a wide range of styles.

At the Still Point of the Turning World was released in early 2005 on the Hypnos Label.
