Spectrehorse is a departure from the angelic
drones of the first release, Sky Burial.
Spectrehorse explores the cold, dark, bleak
industrial soundscapes utilizing studio sessions
originally recorded in 1996 incorporating field
recordings from travels in Asia. A sonic slab
of cold isolation that is both stark and ominous
whilst also containing lighter, and more serene
moments that have become an important part
of the duality of Sky Burial’s music. Lens
Records is proud to release five out-of-print
and hard-to-find catalog titles from Sky
Burial. Each title contains complete digital
scans of all the original artwork and packaging
from the releases.
