Chicago rock act Breather envelopes their sound with shoegazing aural horizons and dual-female vocalists - blending in tastes of bands like My Bloody Valentine, The Cure and The Cocteau Twins for a sound uniquely their own and commandingly sublime. Their songs read like a soap opera tragedy and are delivered with angst-riddled fever. As the melodies and fuzzy soundscapes wash over you, you find yourself almost in a dreamlike state. But despite this, “Stitched With A Kiss” is still quite an engaging listen. Features guest vocals from Ahab Rex.
