This album was created using samples taken entirely from Sound Cube. Those sounds were manipulated in Pro Tools. The entire album was sculpted or pieced together, as opposed to being played live. The dialogue is from Jeffery Dahmer's defense attorney. This CD is sound support for a gallery opening for Matt Schultz's one man show (of the same title) at the Oskar Friedl Gallery, featuring his sculpture, hand made instruments and his Anti Tank Guitars.

"Overall impression: good. This is the latest disc from Lab Report, the first since 1997's "Excision". Unlike previous Lab Report albums, this one is *not* centered around live performance. This disc still maintains the minimalistic, eerie Lab Report charm. I'm not sure of the sound sources (which is a good thing), but there are bell like tones, high pitched squeals, various distorted and non-distorted drones, metallic clangs and thumpings, mechanical motor sounds, watery sounds, a wind instrument of some kind (on song 6), voices, and long sections of slowed down speech from Jeffery Dahmer's defense attorney on several of the tracks. Nice, mostly dark ambient stuff. It reminds me of many of Coil's computer effected pieces. Overall, a nice slab of sound to scare the neighbors and pets. "Matt Schultz recently departed from Invisible Records with his now solo project Lab Report to release records on his own. "All Your Little Pieces Make Me A Whole" marks the first of what Matt hopes will be a successful business venture of marketing, promoting and selling his music exclusively on-line. It also doubles as the soundscape for a gallery opening featuring his sculptures and artwork. Unlike previous material, he composed all of this album entirely from digitally altered and arranged samples. No piece of this album was constructed through conventional schemes. In fact, I don't even think he even used the infamous Anti-Tank Guitar on this album. This means that drones are not the only musical element on the album. Also included are spoken word samples from Jeffrey Dahmer's lawyer, erratic percussion, muffled feedback and other distorted environmental elements. Since this music was meant for a gallery, it only makes sense that he designed it to accentuate an artistic atmosphere rather than pummel your senses with bowel wrenching drones. He succeeds admirably." - Sonic-Boom
